Taughmonagh Community Forum is a community led development organization which over the past 10 years has supported a number of training, service and partnership based initiatives in South Belfast. It has over the past 3 years developed a successful day nursery community business funded by Belfast Local Strategy Partnership and Ulster Community Investment Trust Ltd.

Presently they are developing 4 new projects;"Small Community Network" a team of consultants working with small estates from throughout Northern Ireland to access funding and develop programmes linked to community capacity, employment, housing,youth and community relations; investigating the creation of additonal housing and an amateur league football pitch; self managing the local board funded youth centre; and developing the Healthy Business Centre.
The healthly Business Centre will costs an estimated £700,000 and will include an extension doubling the size of the nursery, offices, community space and rentable units linked to the health and beauti sector.
The objectives of the company are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Taughmonagh without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other organizations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the local community.
